Within the city walls of Kafer lies the remains of humanity.   The city’s existence however is based on a dark agreement between its leaders and people who have “agreed” to use Human Souls as the city’s last energy source. 

When a prophecy is triggered, the city becomes divided between those who believe in a woman's ability to save the earth and those in power bent on keeping the dark soul technology.
